I don't know what game I first played... I've always been into them as I grew up in the eve of the arcade. However, 3 specific games have made it to the top of my charts: Einhander, Final Fantasy 7 & Parasite Eve 2. Ironic that they're all Square, eh?

The game I mentioned to begin with was not my first game, but the game that really got me excited about games. My first games were probably Bubble dizzy for the ZX spectrum and jetpack (I think). I also remember going round to my friends house over the road to play on his spectrum a 128K one I think. It was better than mine. Eventually he got an Amiga though, which I took full advantage of. I spent most day over there asking him if I could play superfrog. Time to take my rose tinted spectacles off I think.

Contra, Double Dragon, Super Dodgeball for NES.

Back when I was 5 or so.

Wow it makes me feel old reading some of these posts of games ppl first played which were made a mere 7 years ago.

the earliest games i can remember are having Sim city, Megaman X for SNES
and for PC it was probably Warcraft II. Plus i remember getting FF8 but getting stuck on it putting it away for about four years then briniging it out and currently beat it ten times, too much time into that game but not as much as morrowind that thing was huge.

First videogame I actually remember playing was Ice Hockey for NES. I still remember when I got my NES and that game on the same christmas.

Actually...now that I really think about it, it had to be Gorf for the Commodore 64.

Talking Ah... the memories!

Ah... my first game ever... that has to be Quake... or was it Quake II? I can hardly remember, I was 3 at the time and madly cutting down those... EXTRAMELY blocky chainsaw guys - you know what I'm talking about

See? Violent games have absolutly no adverse effect on a being - played Quake, Diablo, hell, even Phantasmagoria (Really... "artistic" survival/point+click adventure from way back when) at age 3-5 and see how well I turned out? Almost a prodigy

Good time... good times...

Kill runescape and all the noobs playing it. The noobs ruined that good game but it holds no candle to GW or WoW
